About our Bunnies
Here at Periwinkle Farms, we strive to raise quality rabbits in our selected breeds.
I am a member of ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association), and have been raising and showing rabbits since 2018.
One key focus in breeding our rabbits is temperament, so those looking for a sweet family pet are able to find just what they're looking for here on our farm!
According to ARBA standard of perfection, rabbits are set into three categories based on body type:
Show:
A rabbit deemed to be competitive against other rabbits of the same breed.
Success on the show table is not guaranteed.
These rabbits will come with their full pedigree.
Brood:
A rabbit with quality genetics and characteristics that would contribute to improving type through proper breeding, but may not be the best option for the show table.
I cannot guarantee a rabbit's ability to reproduce.
Brood quality rabbits come with their full pedigree.
Pet:
A rabbit that is either retired from show or a kit that best fits the standard of family pet.
These rabbits do not come with a pedigree.
