Here at Periwinkle Farms, we strive to raise and produce high quality pets, livestock, poultry and waterfowl in our selected breeds.

Small Animals:

Our main goals are to produce health and hardiness, with good type in their breed/variety, that have calm, and sweet personalities.

We want our small animals to live long, happy lives with their new families as beloved pets.

We also do our best to selectively breed for the purpose of producing show competitive rabbits and cavies (also known as guinea pigs) that can do well for young people in 4H and FFA shows. 

We keep a small, and manageable number, of each breed/variety in the best quality we can, in order to offer you the highest quality companion or show animal possible.

 

Livestock:

Our livestock animals are the backbone of our farm. They provide milk, meat, skincare products, clothing accessories, and good old fashioned FUN for our family. 

We raise our animals with a Holistic mindset, only breeding the best, so that we can offer exceptional quality to other families and homesteaders. 

Our Mini Ponies have good minds, with a willingness to learn new things. They are calm, with cool heads on their shoulders.

They have been well suited for parties and events, producing excellent foals with their same calm personalities.

 

Poultry and Waterfowl:

We keep a variety of poultry and waterfowl for various purposes on our farm.

We have sought out the highest quality stock, and made it our own through careful breeding.

Our chickens provide eggs for our family throughout the year. 

Our ducks and geese are excellent weed-eaters, and beautiful yard ornaments.

We offer fertile eggs, chicks, ducklings and goslings from our carefully selected breeding groups for a few short months in the Spring only.

For the remainder of the year our birds are allowed to free range the property,

living their best life and enjoying the pleasures of Creation.
